Spill containment doesn’t have to take up a lot of floor space. The Ultra-Drum Tray is designed for one of two things: spill containment for smaller containers (20 gallons or smaller) or a “good housekeeping” and safety measure for 55-gallon drums.
The 21.1-gallon capacity is not enough to meet the EPA or SPCC spill containment regulations for 55-gallon drums, but it is perfect for capturing those nuisance drips and spill that can occur in day-to-day operations. The optional grating keeps containers elevated above any spills.

The Ultra-Drum Tray is rotationally-molded low-density polyethylene.
The Ultra-Drum Tray can be used for a number of different things. Essentially, it is a containment device. It can be used for secondary containment for smaller containers (bottles, jugs, smaller drums, buckets, fuel cans, etc) or as containment of nuisance leaks, drip and small spills from larger containers (Please note that the drum tray will not comply with EPA regulations for containers larger than 20-gallons.)
A dolly is available (Part# 0417). It is a universal dolly for several UltraTech products but is adjustable and can be sized specifically for the Ultra-Drum Tray.
The drum trays are covered by UltraTech’s industry-leading 5-year warranty.
The Ultra-Drum Tray with grating is compliant with EPA 40 CFR 264.175 for containers that are 20-gallons or smaller.
The grating in the Ultra-Drum Tray is used to elevate containers above any spilled material.
As you can see from the photo in our gallery, a 55-gallon drum will fit on a drum tray. However, it is important to understand that the drum tray does not have enough containment to meet spill containment regulations and should only be used as a good housekeeping measure.
